Three-Dimensional Work
Abstraction in the series "Weight of Time" takes on a language of form through the mediums of bentonite clay, muslin and carbon. Wasli paper merges with clay and a complexity of knots reveals intricate details behind minimal visuals. Fragile, yet binding nature of clay is further contrasted with blackness of carbon from where everything emerges and disappears. These mediums are channels of dual nature of cleansing and pain that stem from personal experiences. These works that resulted from private traces of memory, directly reference the process whereby offloading of emotion physically added to the work as form, with a passage of time
